A US Marine Corps veteran, Steve earned his degree at Millersville University before working in international sales for a global company.
In 1996, he started his first real business, Rotay Technical Solutions (RTS), and sold industrial automation and installation.
In 2000, Steve bought a Paul Davis Franchise-it was just him and a truck.
He grew the business to 150 people and 60 vehicles when he sold it in 2015 and agreed to stay on as consultant/partner for another 3 years.
In 2018 Rotay Capital Finance was established offering businesses financial options to traditional banking.
In 2020, the RedBox+ franchise was added to the services provided by the company. RedBox+ offers a unique dumpster rental service.
Steve grew up in Bridgeport, PA but has lived in Lancaster, PA since 1994
with his wife Melissa. They have 2 grown daughters.
Over the last decade, Steve’s volunteer efforts have been focused around events and charitable contributions. A multitude of non-profits in the Lancaster County area have benefited from Steve and Melissa’s personal or financial contribution over the last decade. Either through their personal efforts or via companies he has operated.
Steve’s hobby is really business; He enjoy all aspects of business.
However, he does spend lots of time with a small circle of family on his “down time.” It really doesn’t matter what they’re doing, just being together is enough. Finally, anything around water brings peace to Steve- boating, fishing, relaxing.
Steve has competed in a “Fireman’s Challenge” event to raise money for Fire Companies
